Nvidia GTC 2026: Everything Jensen Huang Is Expected to Announce Monday
The “Super Bowl of AI” kicks off Monday at the SAP Center in San Jose. 30,000 attendees from 190 countries. Jensen Huang’s keynote at 11 AM PT. And the rumored announcements are massive:
▸ NemoClaw — open-source enterprise AI agent platform, hardware-agnostic, pitched to Salesforce, Google, Cisco, Adobe, CrowdStrike
▸ Groq inference chip — Nvidia paid $20B for Groq’s tech last year. Expect a new chip generating thousands of tokens per second
▸ Rubin architecture — next-gen AI supercomputer: 10x lower cost per token, 4x fewer GPUs needed
▸ Open models panel — Huang moderates with LangChain CEO and leaders from A16Z, Cursor, and Thinking Machines Lab on Wednesday

We already covered the NemoClaw leak in Tuesday’s newsletter. Monday we’ll know if it lives up to the hype. Watch free at nvidia.com/gtc/keynote.

Anthropic Drops $100M to Make Claude the Default Enterprise AI
While fighting the Pentagon in court over a “national security risk” designation, Anthropic quietly launched the Claude Partner Network with a $100 million commitment for 2026. Accenture (training 30,000 employees on Claude), Deloitte, Cognizant, and Infosys are anchor partners. The program includes free certifications, a partner portal with Anthropic’s own sales playbooks, and a Code Modernization starter kit for migrating legacy codebases.
The strategy is clear: Claude is the only frontier AI model available on all three major clouds (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft). Now Anthropic is building the consulting army to embed it everywhere. This is how platform wars are won — not with better benchmarks, but with better distribution. We covered Anthropic’s Microsoft integration in our Copilot Cowork deep dive.

Morgan Stanley: A Massive AI Breakthrough Is Coming — And Nobody’s Ready
A new Morgan Stanley report warns that a transformative leap in AI is imminent in H1 2026 — driven by unprecedented compute accumulation at America’s top AI labs. The scaling laws are holding: 10x the compute roughly doubles a model’s intelligence. GPT-5.4 “Thinking” already scored 83% on the GDPVal benchmark, performing at or above human expert level on economically valuable tasks.
The bank predicts AI will become a “powerful deflationary force” as companies replicate human work at a fraction of the cost. Sam Altman envisions companies of 1–5 people outcompeting large incumbents. xAI’s co-founder suggests recursive self-improvement loops could emerge by early 2027. Stanford’s SIEPR summit already found AI has cut entry-level developer hiring by 20% and call center jobs by 15%. We wrote about GPT-5.4’s capabilities in our deep dive here.

▸ Meta delays “Avocado” AI model to at least May 2026 after internal benchmarks showed it underperforming rivals. Meta also planning major layoffs to fund AI infrastructure. (Creati.ai)
▸ Palantir CEO attacks Anthropic for refusing Pentagon defense contracts, calling it a threat to national security. Anthropic is fighting the DOD’s “supply chain risk” label in court. (Creati.ai)
▸ Elon Musk admits xAI was “built wrong,” has lost 10 of 12 co-founders. Now hiring Cursor’s top engineers to try to catch Claude Code and Codex. (Creati.ai)
▸ AI legislation wave: Washington and Utah passed AI safety bills this week. Virginia passed 3 AI bills. Florida’s AI Bill of Rights stalled. 2026 is becoming the year of state-level AI regulation. (Transparency Coalition)
▸ Oil still elevated, Hormuz still closed. AI data center power demand now a top energy concern. AI infrastructure is becoming an energy story as much as a tech story. (WBN)

💥 GUERRILLA TAKE
Monday is going to be one of those “screenshot this and come back in 6 months” moments. Nvidia is about to give away the agent platform. Anthropic is paying $100M to embed Claude into every Fortune 500 consulting engagement. Morgan Stanley is telling institutional investors that AI is about to shock them. And half the tech sector is laying people off to pay for GPU clusters. If you’re reading this and you’re still sitting on the sidelines wondering when to start — the answer was last year. The second-best answer is right now.
